PRESS RELEASE November 1, 2005
Inventor-e Ltd the innovative provider of automated supply management solutions for the industrial market, announced today the expansion of its range with the release of Cab-e-net to manage medium to high volume inventory at the point of use.
Cab-e-net is the most advanced multiple-item dispensing solution available today. Cab-e-net is a cabinet that is linked to the internet and monitors product stock levels using weight sensor technology. This unparalleled flexibility ensures that direct and indirect supplies are available at the POU while enforcing user-defined access control.
Inventor-e implemented Cab-e-nets into a first tier automotive supplier
in Burnley to manage issuance and replenishment of welding supplies at
point of use (POU).
“The automatic inventory tracking ensures our employees have what
they need when they need it.” said Steve Basford, Materials Control
Manager.
Inventor-e.net a web-hosted supply management solution collects the data
from Cab-e-nets and other POU devices, analyses and provides management
reports that can be viewed on the web or downloaded to Excel. Inventor-e.net
significantly improves inventory visibility, automates reordering and
improves operational efficiencies across an organisation.
“With the launch of Cab-e-net, Inventor-e provides a revolutionary
generation of dispensing capabilities, which will help companies ensure
that materials are available in the right place at the right time with
the right level of accountability," said Dean Henry, Managing Director
of Inventor-e Ltd.
"Cab-e-nets capability to manage products that were previously unable to be managed at point of use successfully, due to item size and/or high volume usage, gives our customers the ability to control inventory they would otherwise thought impossible to be managed at point of use.
